Your privacy matters. MemeMintr is built on a non-custodial, minimal-data philosophy — we collect only what is strictly necessary to provide the Service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
MemeMintr is designed to minimize data collection. We collect: (a) Wallet addresses — your public Solana wallet address when you connect your wallet to use the Service. This is a public blockchain identifier and is not private information; (b) Token metadata — names, symbols, descriptions, and images you provide when creating a token, which are stored on IPFS and published on-chain; (c) Transaction data — on-chain transaction signatures and timestamps, which are public by nature of the Solana blockchain; (d) Usage data — anonymized analytics such as page views and feature usage, collected without personally identifiable information.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
MemeMintr does not collect: private keys or seed phrases (we never ask for these — never share them with anyone), personal identity information such as name, email, or address, payment card information, or IP addresses linked to wallet addresses. We are a non-custodial service and deliberately limit data collection to preserve your privacy.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: provide and improve the Service; display your wallet address in the interface for transaction confirmation; store token metadata on IPFS for on-chain use; analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Blockchain Data
Transactions you initiate through MemeMintr are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is a public, immutable ledger. Once a transaction is confirmed, it cannot be deleted or modified. This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology. Your public wallet address and all on-chain activity associated with it are permanently visible to anyone.
5. IPFS Storage
Token metadata (name, symbol, description, image) you provide is uploaded to IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) via Pinata. IPFS is a decentralized, content-addressable storage network. Once uploaded, this data is publicly accessible to anyone with the content hash and may be cached by IPFS gateways. You should not upload sensitive or private information as token metadata.
6. Cookies and Analytics
MemeMintr may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the product is used. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Any analytics we use are aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
7. Third-Party Services
MemeMintr integrates with: Helius RPC (Solana node provider) — your transactions are routed through their infrastructure; Pinata (IPFS pinning) — metadata you upload is stored on their service; Wallet providers (Phantom, Solflare, etc.) — governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.
8. Data Retention
We retain minimal service logs for a limited period for security and debugging purposes. On-chain data is permanent and not under our control. IPFS-pinned metadata persists as long as it is pinned. We do not retain personally identifiable information.
9. Your Rights
Where applicable under law (e.g., GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since MemeMintr holds minimal personal data by design, most data associated with your use is your public wallet address and on-chain activity, which we cannot delete as it is part of the blockchain.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
